Reminder: Muffins for Moms will be held at Viking Elementary starting at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow (3/31) morning. Students are welcome to come and have a muffin breakfast with 1 special adult (Mom, Grandma, Aunt, etc.). This will be an open house with the classrooms and cafeteria open for breakfast from 8:00-9:00. For those of you who are meeting your child/grandchild off the bus, just a reminder that the bus arrives at Viking Elementary at approximately 8:20.
Last month, Viking Elementary Second graders were visited by the Viking/Newfolden Lions Club. They gave each student a Magic Tree House book in honor of "I Love to Read Month." We are so thankful for this generous gift!

Tuesday: Fox in Sox (Wear fun socks and show them off!)
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday (Dress in your wackiest clothes!)
Thursday: Read My Shirt Day (Wear a shirt with appropriate words to school!)

Reminder to Viking Elementary families that our winter programs will be next Friday, December 2nd! The Kindergarten program will be at 1pm, and the 1st/2nd Grade program will be at 1:45pm, both in the Viking Elementary gym. We are so excited to share our music with you!

Preschool will join Viking Elementary for Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 30th. The Preschool meeting is at 6:30.

The ECFE picnic has been cancelled for tonight due to weather. It will be rescheduled for next Thursday, May 26th at 5:30-7:00 at the Newfolden City Park.
The JO Softball meeting that was scheduled to be outside tonight, Wednesday May 18th will be held in the Newfolden Elementary Cafeteria instead. The times are 8U/9U @ 5:00, 12U @ 5:15, 14U @ 5:30. If you miss the meeting please have your child stop by the office @ their school to pick up information.
