During I Love to Read Month of February, 2nd-4th graders in Newfolden Elementary have participated in D.E.A.R. once a week. It means Drop Everything And Read! They don't know when it is, which builds up their anticipation. They all will gather in the halls and quietly read. I personally love to see the participation. Students are excited about their books and it builds a strong community in our elementary school!
