ECFE will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at Viking Elementary. We will have two sessions : 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. The theme this week is Thanksgiving, and we have lots of fun Thanksgiving activities planned!

Last week, it was time to celebrate October's "Caught Being Good" winners at Viking Elementary. These students have been chosen because they have shown random acts of kindness throughout the month: Serayah Hewitt Rhett Jalowiec Jonah Bruggeman Lennix Jarshaw Reagan Rheault Raylan Riesen Each winner was awarded by sitting at the "Caught Being Good" decorated table for lunch with a friend of their choice. Congratulations!

ECFE will have one session tonight at the Thief River Falls library at 5:00. All children ages birth to five years old and families are welcome to come!

Mrs. U was subbing in one of our first grade classrooms today and had the students make a craft that was also a snack. They created a pencil out of a gram cracker, frosting, and a chocolate chip. Students were smiling while making them and eating them! Yumm!!! Thanks Mrs. U!

Last week, we celebrated our September "Caught Being Good" students at Viking Elementary. Viking Elementary Halloween fun!

Attention Parents: It's time for Freeze Hoops Registration! Registration Link: https://forms.gle/osJVSreePttDVwsS9 A informational letter was sent home with students. Freeze Hoops Registration Night is Tuesday, October 29th @ the MCC High School Commons from 6:30-7:30 pm. If you are new to Freeze Hoops or need any clarification on the program, please ensure to attend sign up night and ask any questions you may have. If you sign up online and send a payment to school, you do not need to attend registration night.

Viking Elementary students visited the Viking Fire Department for Fire Prevention Week. They got to meet some volunteer firefighters, spray the fire hose, and even see the fire truck! Students also learned all about fire safety. A big thank you to the Viking Fire Dept. and all those who made this possible!

ECFE will be held at Viking Elementary on Wednesday, October 23rd with two sessions: 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. The theme this week will be "Halloween" and children can come dressed in costumes if they wish! All children ages birth to five years old along with their families are welcome for some Halloween fun!

School pictures were handed out today to Middle School and High School students. Due to delivery delays, the Elementary schools will receive their picture packets early next week. Sorry for the delay!

Kindergarten students used their creativity during music class. They arranged their own designs while signing about pumpkins and Jack O'Lanterns.

Mrs. Converse and Ms. Stromsodt's kindergarten classes had a visit from Smokey the Bear this week at Viking Elementary! The kids learned all about fire safety. Thank you to Smokey and team for coming!, we had a blast!
