Driver Education Parent Meeting - Wed. 5/21 @ 7 p.m.
- Optional free meeting for parents of students who have completed the Driver's Education Class (students do not attend)
- Meeting will be at the high school - Mrs. Lund's Room #104
- We will go over the Knowledge Test, Behind the Wheel, the Road Test, Teen Driving Laws, Driving Logs, Farm Permit, etc.
- Blue Cards will be available. You can pay at the meeting for the cost for Behind the Wheel is $275 cash, check or pay online @ School Pay.
- Deputy Adam Gast will be available to answer questions.
*Parents that attend the meeting will receive a certificate that is good for 10 Hours of driving with their child.

Ms. Melgaard’s biology classes did a couple of dissections this month as they were comparing the anatomy of different creatures.







Unified Track Meet was held today, May 14th. Students that attended were Aaden Guerrero, Zeke Nelson, Kaitlyn Majer and Cash Maurstad

In my free time I like to go fishing and hunting. I also play basketball during the school year and during the summer.
WHY NOMINATED: Sully is kind, nice, is a hard worker in school and a great role model to others. He is a good student that keeps on top of his work and is always respectful in class. Congratulations!

The first weekend in May, MCC’s ninth grade class went on their class field trip with Ms. Olson and Ms. Melgaard. They visited the Forest History Center in Grand Rapids and learned about life in a logging camp. Then off to the discovery center in Chisholm to investigate mining and its effects on the environment. Finally, they made it to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center where they participated in a ropes course, many hikes, learned about voyager life, and learned about many other environmental topics.









MCC Competed in the Roseau Historical Society Minnesota History Museum. The contest has been around for 44 years. MCC joined in 2015. Sixth grade students from Badger, Roseau, MCC, Warroad, and Lancaster completed in this year's contest. Emerie Parker, Betty Efta, and Gideon Bjorgaard represented MCC. Gideon finished in 5th Place. Betty Efta in 6th Place.
The event is sponsored/supported by Roseau County Historical Society and Museum, Border Bank Roseau, Citizens Bank Roseau, Security State Bank Warroad, and Hanson's Trophies/Engraving from Strathcona.


Congratulations to Kayla Geske who received the greenhand degree award at the FFA banquet on Sunday, May 4th.

River Watch students went out on Thursday (after the rain) to check our local Middle River and collect data on it.
