Information about the Boys North Star Conference Championship Game on Friday, February 24th @ Sacred Heart. Doors open at 6:30pm for fans - use Door #2 to enter game, access to main parking lot use 2nd street NW by Cabela and Bernie's. Admission is $6 for adults, Senior citizens and K-12 students is $4. 7:15 is tip-off - come out and cheer on your Northern Freeze!

January JH Student of the Month - 8th Grader Brooke Bjorgaard - Parents: Todd and Carla Bjorgaard - Sports/Activities involved in: Basketball, Track, Choir, Band and the Musical - Why Nominated: Brooke is a hard worker and kind to all. She gives it her all and will help anyone with whatever they ask of her. Congratulations Brooke!


Students who will be taking college courses in the 2023-2024 school year and their parents are encouraged to attend a presentation on college course offerings, expectations and rigor. This will be held in the library during Parent-Teacher conferences on Monday, February 27th from 6:00p-6:30p.

What inspires you?
Helping students! I get to teach them how to use technology, learn about careers, learn about finances, apply for jobs, apply to colleges, coach them in sports, and teach them how to drive. I also pick them up and bring them home on the bus. I love working with students!

It would be my dad, who passed away suddenly at 53. I would have liked for all my children to meet him and to grow up with him in their life

On Friday, December 16th, Ms. Olson's Science class will be doing a Christmas Bird Count with Agassiz Wildlife Refuge. We are asking the community who have bird feeders please fill them with bird seed so students can identify and count birds that are in our neighborhood. Thank you for your support

The MCC Student Council hosted a Senior Tea at the Newfolden Community Center on Tuesday, December 6th.
Area senior citizens came to hear senior high choir members sing Christmas carols under the direction of Mr. Michael Thompson.
The seniors were served coffee, hot apple cider and christmas cookies while they listened to the students sing.





The MCC Unified Sports Team participated in the Bowling Event held at the TRF Bowling Alley, SouthTown Lanes, on November 21, 2022. The MCC Freeze team did not disappoint. They participated well and supported one another. Great Job! Students who participated are Braxton Anderson, Tessa Hoglo, Carsten Benitt, David Schoon, Aaden Guerrero and Logan Trevis
