April Student of the Month Junior High: Trig Anderson Grade: 9th Parents: Jason and Patti Anderson Sports/Activities Involved In: Football, Basketball, Baseball and Trap Why Nominated: Trig is a great role model as a student and an athlete! He is respectful and kind to others. He always works hard and is willing to lend a hand.

The MCC Chamber choir will be presenting a concert on Saturday, May 4th at 2:00pm at the Newfolden Community Center.

Marshall County Central High School Prom Grand March "Golden Dreams" will be held on Saturday, April 20th at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. Cost for admission is $2 per person


On Friday, April 12th, Ms. Melgaard’s biology class dissected a rat as their vertebrate mammal to compare to the shark.





On Wednesday April 3rd, Mr. Dahl’s Child Development class got first hand experience working with Toddlers. Students have been learning about the developmental milestones of children ages 0-3 and got to screen Mr. Dahl’s two boys through some fun and engaging activities!






On Thursday, April 11th, the Drones teams, coached by Ms. Melgaard and Mr. Busacker, toured Northrop Grumman and General Atomics Aeronautics today, set up by Northland Community and Technical College. No pictures allowed inside either building, but we learned lots!



On Wednesday April 3rd - Ms. Olson's 10th grade Advanced Biology class did a dissection on mixed fish - there was a stingray, a skate, a dogfish shark, a perch, a menhaden, lamprey and a ghost shark











There will be a parent meeting next week for drone students that are going to Michigan. We will meet in Mr. Busacker’s room at 5:30pm next Wednesday, April 17th. Drone practice for students will run until 5:30pm next week.

March Student of the Month Senior High: Noah Underdahl Grade: 12th Parents: Laura and Cody Underdahl Sports/Activities Involved In: Basketball, National Honor Society, Student Council Why Nominated: Noah is a stand-up young man, he is a leader, he works hard and always does the right thing. He is one of those students you always look forward to having in class because he is there to do his best and helps out if needed. Congratulations Noah!


March Student of the Month Junior High: Adyn Hoverson Grade: 7th Parents: Kari Skadsem and Jeremy Hoverson Sports/Activities Involved In: Football, Basketball, Baseball Why Nominated: Adyn is a kind and well-mannered young man. He comes to class eager to participate and always does his best and treats others with respect. It is nice having a student like Adyn in class. Congratulations Adyn!


Freeze Softball Game today (4/5)- Varsity game vs RLF @ Greenbush starting at 4:00. JV game to follow. MCC students will leave at 2:00. There will be No JH practice tonight. Good Luck!!

Reminder: The MCC High School Yearbook Order Deadline is Friday, April 5th. Forms and payment can be turned into the high school office or to Mrs. Lund. You can also pay online using school pay. Yearbook orders received after April 5th are NOT guaranteed a yearbook.

February Student of the Month Junior High: Natalie Leslie GRADE: 8th PARENTS: Jessica Holm. Why Nominated: Natalie is nice to her classmates and teachers. She often will come up to a teacher and ask them how they are doing. She is on task and stays caught up on her work. Congratulations Natalie!
