Health 10 is in the First Aid unit and we practiced with ketchup and PPE (vinyl gloves) how to get “bloody” gloves off without getting any blood on our skin. #gofreeze

Marshall County Sheriff Deputy Adam Gast spoke to the Driver's Education Class about driving laws, common driving issues and answered many questions from students!

MCC Student Council will be hosting a Haunted Stage on Thursday, October 31st! The Haunted Stage will be open to the public Thursday evening from 6-8pm on the High School stage. Cost is $2 per person


Last week in Gourmet Cooking, students prepared ethnic foods from each of their own heritages. Items include French ratatouille, Norwegian lefse, Norwegian krumkake, and Jamaican jerk chicken. The students did a great job!#gofreeze

Last week student council went to a summit in Thief River Falls #gofreeze


Intro to Construction class went to Manufacturing Day in TRF. They toured Northern Woodwork Inc. They were able to weld up a desk organizer, cut out a keychain on a CNC machine, work with robots, and hear about different opportunities at Arctic Cat.





Algebra 2 students worked on an activity to find out how many peanut and peanut butter M&M's were in the paper bag by using systems of equations.#gofreeze





Volleyball JH Tournament @ Hallock scheduled for Saturday is cancelled. As of now, the Fertile Tournament for Varsity on Saturday is still on but time was changed to 11:00 a.m.

High School Open Gym scheduled for Sunday, October 13 has been cancelled.

Outdoor Survival went out yesterday and picked wild rose hips and clipped pine needles to make tea. Today we boiled the rose hips and made some fresh tea. Tomorrow they will try the pine needles. Here are a few more photos. #gofreeze

Ms. Melgaard’s CIS Anatomy and Physiology class and Physics class went to UND on Wednesday. They learned about Anatomy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training at the Medical School. They also learned about the physics department, rockets and astrophysics.#gofreeze





River Watch team, advised by Ms. Melgaard, had a busy day today. First they went to Thief River Falls for water monitoring training and to learn the challenge for this year. Then they traveled to 3 spots along the Middle River to perform their monthly water monitoring. #gofreeze





The varsity football game scheduled for October 11th has been moved to Thursday October 10th at 4:30 start time in Karlstad#gofreeze
