Veterans Day Program – Tuesday, November 11, 2025
9:30 a.m. | MCC High School Gym | Open to the Public
Marshall County Central High School, together with American Legion Post 427, will host our annual Veterans Day program on Tuesday, November 11 at 9:30 a.m.
Our keynote speaker is Staff Sergeant (E-6) Gary J. Guggenberger, U.S. Army, a former prisoner of war who served with the 352nd Transportation Company in Vietnam and was held in captivity for 1,491 days before his release in 1973. His service and courage earned him the Bronze Star and other honors.
The program will include music from the MCC Choir and Quilts of Valor presentations to three veterans.
We invite students, families, and community members to join us as we honor and thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice.

On Tuesday, we were excited to welcome the MCC High School Homecoming King and Queen, Sawyer Torgerson and Ellie Underdahl! They spent time visiting with our students and even joined them for lunch. What a fun and memorable day for everyone!

Benefits: PTO, holiday pay, PERA retirement, summer unemployment, and $100 MCC clothing allowance
Food service experience is preferred but not required, training is provided.
