Transportation Director Adam Lokstad informed us today that the district reported its 7th stop arm violation for the year. This violation occurred this morning on our Horse route.
One is unexceptable. 7 is ridiculous. Please slow down, be alert, stay off your phones, and stop for school buses. Buses have bright amber lights to issue warning to prepare to stop and when buses flash red, you must stop!
Our school district utilizes stop arm cameras and reports all stop arm violations.
This is No School on Monday, November 7th. It is a Teacher Workshop Day.
MCC HS students and parents: Tomorrow is the last day for musical tryouts for Grease. We are in desperate need for boys to tryout to fill the male roles. We encourage you to try out even if you are not sure and might be interested. Our musicals are great opportunities to showcase talent, grow as an artist, and even to try something new. If you are interested please sign up in the high school office. If you have any questions please contact Diane Waterworth, Sheila Nelson, and Tyler Campbell.
The November Calendar is up and available on our school and district web pages. A direct link is here: https://bit.ly/3SL4tVF
Paper copies will be sent home with all elementary students Monday in their folders or available in the high school office by request.
Attention Parents: We are short a bus driver tonight and had to make adjustments to our after school bus routes. The Cat, Dog, and Bear routes are affected. Students on these routes may be dropped off at a different time than their usual time.
A few of our NHS and Student Council students helped the Lions Club with their annual Highway Clean Up! It was a beautiful day for their volunteer efforts.
